Providing local,
sustainably grown farm produce

Who We Are

Island Family Farm is located on Anderson Island, the southernmost island in the Puget Sound. We began our farming adventure not with the intent to farm, per se, but as a family desiring to be self-sufficient and ecologically responsible. We have committed ourselves to a natural cycle and organic way of raising both crops and animals. We strive to combine the proven methods of the past with the latest research and techniques of today, to create a special place to raise our family, as well as provide healthier food for our customers.

We practice pasture rotation in lieu of artificial fertilizers. We encourage our chickens to forage, fertilize and cleanse our pastures behind the pigs. The resulting pork, poultry and eggs are remarkably flavorful, gorgeously colored and fantastically healthful. No herbicides, pesticides or artificial inputs exist on our farm. We take pride in our commitment to sustainable, traditional and healthful food production.

While our farm is growing and maturing, we are currently taking orders for free range eggs, pastured broiler chickens, heritage breed turkeys and pastured pork. Demand has thus far outweighed our supply, so please employ your patience while we expand to meet our community’s needs. Please use the navigation tabs on this website to visit the areas of our farm that interest you most and email us to place your order. Good old-fashioned phone calls work well.

Thank you for visiting our new website. We’d love to hear from you with any questions or comments you might have.
